According to Sky Sport Italy, Fardi gave his initial approval to move to Karimonise in a free transfer deal, after his contract with Leicester City ended at the end of last season, as he only left the final touches on the contract details before completing the deal.
It is expected that Fardi, 38, will reach Italy during the next few days to complete his transfer procedures, in a move that might give him a new experience after a long career with Leicester City.
It is worth noting that Fardi played 13 seasons in the Leicester shirt, including nine seasons in the English Premier League, during which he played 500 games in various competitions during which he scored 200 goals, and is considered one of only 34 players who managed to score more than 100 goals in the Premier League, where he is ranked 14th in the list of historical goalscorers for the competition with 145 goals from 342 games.
