According to the Saudi Al -Youm newspaper, Al -Ittihad management intends to register Unai Hernandez in the 21 -year -old team list in order to allow a place in the list of the first team to include a new foreign player during the current Mercato.

Unai Hernandez has joined the ranks of the Saudi Al -Ittihad club coming from the Barcelona reserve in the last winter transfer window.

The newspaper pointed out that the management of Al -Ittihad club is seeking to sign several foreign deals to bridge the deficiencies in the team, based on the recommendation of French coach Laurent Blanc.

Al -Ittihad club signed with the trio Mohamed Bernawi, Muhammad Al -Absi and Ahmed Al -Jalaidan during the current summer transfer period.
